AN Ealing business has joined Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) charity to raise funds to support children receiving treatment throughout this year.

Book of Beasties is an award-winning children's wellness resource that was developed and created at the University of West London's (UWL) Westmont Enterprise Hub.

Its aim is to raise emotional literacy, teach resilience and empathy and encourage open conversations about mental health.

After donating copies of the card game to patients at the hospital, its creators have now come up with a whole new resource dedicated to the charity cause, with new playful wellbeing features.

They will also donate £1 per month from each subscriber to its Wellness Champion platform to support the hospital's specialist Play Team, which supports young people during their treatment.

Phil Tottman, Book of Beasties co-creator, said: "We were delighted to offer our Book of Beasties game to the Play Team at GOSH as it is more important now than ever before to promote good mental health amongst children and young people.

"We hope our dedicated platform will give more people access to our Beasties and their wellness message, whilst supporting the GOSH Play Team to continue its amazing work."
