DO you happen to have lots of bubble wrap that you're not planning to use?
Instead of throwing it away, you can give it to the Pop Up Gallery in Ealing Broadway shopping centre which is looking for extra bubble wrap, and at the same time, you can help reduce plastic waste.
The gallery is selling lots of art which needs to be securely wrapped so that it doesn't get damaged in transit.
In a bit to cut down on their plastic use, they're looking to link up with other organisations who are inundated with packaging that they end up throwing away.
Kate Winskill, founder of the Pop Up Gallery is asking for your help: "If you have a shop or organisation where large items are delivered wrapped in plastic bubble wrap, we would love the chance to collect it and reuse it.
"It's a great packaging material that really needs to be reused and not discarded.
"We are already aiming to buy only biodegradable wraps and when we deliver art locally, we use blankets or reusable silver bags.
"But we are really keen to get our hands on old packaging to protect our artwork when customers collect."
Anyone in Ealing who has bubble wrap to dispose of can get in touch with Kate at [email protected], or you can drop it off directly at the gallery next to Tesco in Ealing Broadway shopping centre.
