The Ealing Broadway partnership with Love Not Landfill allowed the community to donate and collect school uniforms for free.

Love Not Landfill is a non-profit initiative dedicated to inspiring avid fast fashion enthusiasts to engage in second-hand shopping, swapping, recycling, and charitable donations.

Because of its success, Ealing Broadway had to extend it from the 29-30 July, all the way until the 1 September 2023 (today).

It was open today from 10-4pm today with shirts, dresses and more all still on the racks.

There was jumpers, shirts and backpacks from various Ealing primary schools on display (image via Ealing Broadway/Facebook).

The project has already resulted in more than "2,000 donated items, comprising tops, jumpers, dresses, and jackets," according to an Ealing Broadway spokesperson.

They added: "We want to help the community with back-to-school uniforms and sports clothes for all age groups for free, simply come along and find what you need for your children's new term."

Ealing Broadway and Love Not Landfill have yet to decide if they will do another pop-up event.
