Ealing Broadway confirms festive opening hours

For those looking to get a last-minute gift, or head to the sales after Christmas, Ealing Broadway has confirmed its opening times over the festive period.  

The centre will be open 9.00am – 8.00pm in the week leading up to Christmas (Monday 18th – Saturday 23rd December) and from 11.00am – 5.00pm on Christmas Eve (Sunday 24th December).

Opening days and times will vary by store, especially on Bank Holidays, so it's always recommended that visitors check with individual retailers before setting off to avoid disappointment.

Ealing Broadway's full opening times throughout the Christmas week are:

·      Sunday, 24 December (Christmas Eve): 11.30am – 5.00pm

·      Monday, 25 December (Christmas Day): Closed

·      Tuesday, 26 December (Boxing Day): 10.00am – 6.00pm

·      Wednesday, 27 December: 9.00am – 7.00pm

·      Thursday, 28 December: 9.00am – 7.00pm

·      Friday, 29 December: 9.00am – 7.00pm

·      Saturday, 30 December: 9.00am – 7.00pm

·      Sunday, 31 December (New Years Eve): 11.00am – 5.00pm

·      Monday, 1 January (New Years Day): 10.00am – 6.00pm

Alongside shopping, vistors can enjoy food and drink from Ealing Broadway's Christmas Market (credit: Ealing Broadway).

The Town Square Christmas Market will also be open each day until Saturday 24 December, with a variety of festive-themed street food on offer.

Visitors can stock up on warming mulled wine and traditional bratwurst sausages, sugared doughnuts, sweet waffles and even luxury cheese hampers.

Shoppers can also get ahead on their Christmas shopping with gorgeous handmade gifts, crafts and decorations also on offer.

To add to the festivities, Ealing Broadway's Town Square will be transformed in shimmering white snowflakes each day. The snow is set to fall on shoppers at 4pm, giving locals the perfect opportunity to snap a snowy selfie.

On Saturday 23 December, between 12:30pm – 5:30pm, a selection of live music acts will play on the Town Square Stage, where shoppers can enjoy classic carols and pop hits to truly feel the Christmas cheer. The schedule is as follows:

·      12.30pm – 1.00pm: DJ Steevos

·      1.00pm – 3.00pm: Lois

·      3.00pm – 3.30pm: DJ Steevos

·      3.30pm – 4.00pm: Prii

·      4.00pm – 5.00pm: ZaZa

·      5.00pm – 5.30pm: DJ Steevos

Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, said: "We know that Christmas can be a really busy time of year for everyone, so we want to give our visitors plenty of time to get everything they need whilst being able to get into the festive spirit at our Christmas Market.

"We're open right up until Christmas Eve, and we're open again from Boxing Day for people looking for a reason to head out in the days leading up to New Year's Eve."
