A dispersal zone is in place in parts of Hounslow because of anti-social behaviour.

Inspector Styles authorised the Section 35 Dispersal Order for the area of Feltham, Hanworth and East Bedfont today (Saturday, October 8) at 12pm.

Dispersal orders are used to protect members of the public from being harassed or when there is a high risk of crime or disorder.

Until the dispersal zone expires at 11:59pm on Monday (October 10), it is an offence to stay in the area outlined if directed to leave it by a police officer.

A spokesperson for Ealing Police wrote on Twitter: "A Section 35 Dispersal Order has been authorised by Insp Styles for the area of Feltham, Hanworth and East Bedfont in #Hounslow from 12:00 on the 8th October 2022 until 11:59 on the 10th October 2022.

"This is due to Anti Social Behaviour in the area."
