LOOKING for a career in the construction industry?

London has a growing construction skills shortage and construction sector employers need a site-ready workforce to help build the homes Londoners need.

The Mayor's Construction Academy (MCA) aims to connect Londoners with training in the skills they need to access vacancies in the capital's developments, trades, professions and management.

The academy is doing this through:

• Identifying and recognising high-quality construction skills training provision in the capital.

• Hubs to help Londoners, employers, training providers and the groups supporting them both to connect more often, more quickly and with better outcomes.

• Investment in equipment and facilities to support the delivery of high-quality construction training in London.

It will be investing in building information modelling, design for manufacture and assembly and virtual learning to help learners get practical skills in the trades earlier and faster.

More information and registration for training can be found HERE.
