Bukayo Saka and Nando's team up to create first ever collaboration sauce
Nando's has added a brand-new sauce to its line-up in collaboration with Ealing born footballer Bukayo Saka.
PERi-PERi Saka is Nando's first-ever restaurant sauce partnership in what combines the Arsenal forward's favourite flavours with Nando's PERi-PERi hot sauce.
To create PERi-PERi Saka, the winger worked with Nando's food team to combine his love of smoky BBQ and tomato with Nando's PERi-PERi.
The sauce is sweet yet spicy, made with tomato, garlic and smoked paprika which comes in at Medium on Nando's spiciness metre - the PERi-ometer.
Saka says: "The sauce mixes sweet, spiciness and smokiness.
"I love it and can't wait for everyone to try it."
He adds: "I've been going to Nando's since I was little so to have my own PERi-PERi sauce in every restaurant in the country is quite mad!
"My family's really important to me so I wanted to make sure they liked it, too. As soon as my Dad said he was a fan, I knew it was the one."
PERi-PERi Saka Sauce was revealed in a mini film titled, 'Yes Chef', where Saka stepped into a kitchen alongside other chefs to create the dip.
The bottle was designed by British artist Reuben Dangoor, who created an artwork wrapping around Arsenal's Emirates stadium and designed David Beckham's kit for FIFA 22.
The sauce is available at all restaurants across the UK and Ireland from yesterday (19 March) but for a limited time only.
Saka's first collaboration with the grilled chicken chain came with his side-eye in Nando's 'This Must Be The Place' TV ad last year.
Nando's also hosted his Dad's birthday party in the past.
