Officers investigating a sexual assault on the London Underground have released an image of a man they want to identify in connection.

On December 10 at 11:20pm a woman was standing on the platform of Shepherd's Bush tube station when she was approached by a man and sexually assaulted.

She confronted the man who made off to the Westbound platform and boarded a train.

Subsequent stops of the Central line westbound from Shepherd's Bush tube station are White City, East Acton and North Acton, at which point the line splits.

One direction leads to West Acton and Ealing Broadway.

The alternative route stops at Hanger Lane, Perivale, Greenford and Northolt before terminating ultimately at West Ruislip.

Officers believe the man pictured could help their investigation and yesterday (June 13, 2022) released the CCTV image.

Anyone who recognises him or has information is asked to contact British Transport Police (BTP) by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 61 of 11/12/22.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
