Annoor Cultural & Community Centre (ACCC) has launched a public consultation for 38 new homes, two new prayer halls and multiple facilities on Church Road, Acton.

The redevelopment would also see a name change of the Mosque from ACCC to Al-Hidayah Cultural & Community Centre.

ACCC, also known as Annoor Masjid, will host a public exhibition tonight (Tuesday, 22 October) from 2pm to 7pm at the Mosque and an online public webinar on Thursday, 24 October from 6pm to 7pm.

The proposed 11-storey Al-Hidayah Cultural & Community Centre plans to bring 38 new flats above the centre, retail spaces and prayer halls for men and women.

Of the 38 new flats, 27 are two-bedroom, eight are one-bedroom, and three are three-bedroom homes.

In its plans, Annoor Masjid say: "New much-needed homes are proposed on the upper floors, which will secure the Centre's long-term future ensuring we can invest back into the community we serve."

Alongside new homes and prayer spaces, the ground and first floors will see multi-function rooms, a cafe, a gym, offices and more.

Annoor Masjid add: "In addition to offering space for prayer and worship, the Centre will have facilities and services for the whole community to use and enjoy."

The overall builds design is said to include "high quality" materials and that architecture will be inspired by Islam.
