EALING Police are appealing for the public's help to identify two men in connection to an unprovoked assault at a petrol station in Greenford.

Police were called to the scene just after midnight on November 21 by the London Ambulance Service to reports of two men with facial injuries.

They were taken to hospital where one of the victims underwent facial reconstruction surgery.

The suspects arrived at the petrol station at around 23:15 the night before (November 20) in a light coloured car and were being verbally aggressive from the outset.

The two victims were paying for some items at the night pay point, when suspect two approached them.

He briefly spoke to the cashier and as he walked away, he was seen reaching into his pocket and took something out, believed to be a knuckleduster.

He struck the back of one of the victims' heads and was then joined by the other suspect and together they began to attack both victims.

They then fled in the car in an unknown direction.

Suspect one is described as a white man, aged in his mid-20s, of a slim built, around 6ft tall with dark brown hair and was wearing a dark green/grey top and blue jeans.

Suspect two is described as a white man, also aged in his mid-20s and was wearing a dark, short sleeved top, a black puffa jacket, skinny jeans and black trainers.

Detective Constable Eliza Nosarzewska, investigating officer from West Area CID, said: "This was a brutal attack which inflicted serious injury on the victims.

"One victim sustained a fractured cheekbone, nose, eye socket and jaw.

"We are committed to ensuring those responsible are brought to justice for their actions."

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC, quoting CAD 00073/21NOV20.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
