A reader has sent in an update from South Ealing that the South Ealing petrol station is still currently out of fuel, as of 3:15 pm on Wednesday 29 September.

According to AA traffic there is currently medium levels of traffic around South Ealing station and near the petrol station, as of 5:15 pm.

Delays of two minutes are reported on A4 Great West Road Westbound and slow traffic around the Chiswick flyover.

This comes after traffic warnings were put out yesterday as drivers queued for petrol due to the rapidly changing fuel supply situation and panic buying.

Ealing Nub News reader Marc Yonder reported on Tuesday 28 September at noon of tailback extended half a mile up to the St Mary's Road way past St Mary's Church.

The queues were from the Esso Station in South Ealing, affecting the surrounding area.

This follows on from a weekend of traffic reports across Ealing due to petrol station queuing.

Yonder commented that five "desperate" Amazon vans had converged on, "the only fuel station with any fuel in town, the Esso/Sainsbury's garage in South Ealing."

In an automated statement from Tesco petrol station, they said: "We are working really hard to make sure regular deliveries happen to our stations across the UK and the situation is changing, with deliveries arriving all the time, which means staff are not able to give you information about fuel availability at your local store."
