There will be changes to recycling and rubbish collections in Ealing over the Christmas period.

Residents are encouraged to check the revised schedule to make sure their bins are collected.

The changes to refuse and recycling collections will occur from Christmas Day and return to normal service by Monday, 24 January 2022.

Check the revised date for collections in Ealing in the image below.

Recycling and rubbish is collected on alternate weeks in Ealing: recycling one week and rubbish the next.

Food waste is collected weekly and garden waste is collected fortnightly.

Ealing Council have issued a reminder that rubbish and recycling should be left at the front boundary of the property, not on the pavement, by 7am on the collection day.

Christmas tree collection

Real Christmas trees will be collected for recycling between Tuesday 4 and Saturday 29 January, 2022 – just leave them out on your black rubbish bin day.

Alternatively, you can also take your Christmas tree to the listed council parks and open spaces up until 29 January 2022, or to Greenford Reuse and recycling centre.

You must book a recycling centre slot in advance.

See further details and a list of local parks for Christmas tree collection, here.
