Arts

I'm an Ealing-based figurative artist specialising in portraiture, performers and storytelling.

A member of the Lots Road Group of portraitists, I undertake both painted and drawn portrait commissions of adults, children and pets and have portrayed well-known sitters such as the BBC's Kate Adie and John Humphrys. In portraiture my aim is to create images which go beyond the photographic depiction of moments in time to capture lives lived up to that moment.

I'm resident artist at iconic music venue, the Half Moon Putney and have painted old timers like Ralph Mctell and Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets to relatively new kids on the block like Catfish.

Many of my original artworks are featured on band tees in my Red Bubble art product shop. In my busker and venue entertainers, I aim to capture the creative energy of performing live.

Winner of the Judges' Prize at Egypt's first biennale (2013), I have exhibited at the Milan Expo, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and National Open Art exhibitions (2015). And I have taught drawing for Sketchout in the inspiring surrounds of the V&A, National Portrait Gallery, The Courtauld and Tate Britain and will teach oil portraiture for beginners for Open Ealing when restrictions allow.

I take part annually in BEAT (Borough of Ealing Art Trail) open studios in Northfields.
