Events coming up in Ealing

Thursday: Summer Live at Ealing Broadway

'Summer Live' stage in Town Square will play host to fantastic live music every Thursday afternoon and evening, starting on 21st July from 3-7pm.

Thursday: Bat Walk

Join Sean and some bat pack helpers on an evening bat walk at Paradise Fields, meeting at 8.30pm at the underpass from McDonalds carpark, UB6 0UW.

You'll get the chance to use a handheld electronic bat detector to listen to bats as they echolocate at ultra high frequencies to find food. At this time of year there may even be sightings of young bats learning to fly and hunt.

Friday: Red Rope IMPACT ON Ocean Pollution – The Immersive Experience

IMPACT Theatre presents Red Rope, an immersive experience raising awareness of plastics in our oceans.

Dynamic projections of digital art and film will take audiences into an underwater paradise and deliver a profound message about just how precious and fragile the natural world is, and what can be done to save future generations.

IMPACT is a theatre company and day service for people with learning disabilities, based at a Community Arts Centre opposite Perivale Station. 

Saturday: Preloved Fashion pop-up x Ealing Project

Preloved Fashion Pop-Up has partnered with Ealing Project to bring a fashionable, eclectic collection of preloved womenswear, shoes and accessories to the cinema for an afternoon of stylish and sustainable shopping.

Saturday: Ealing Croquet Pay & Play

Ealing Croquet Club is holding a series of 'Pay and Play' sessions on their lawns in lovely Lammas Park.

Croquet is a fascinating sport suited to all ages: it provides mental challenges but isn't physically demanding - and being a game that up to four people can play while still being socially distanced, it's perfect for the current situation. 

 A chance to try a fun new sport or – if you've played croquet before - to improve your skills. Sessions last one hour and you can book for up to 8 people per session. 

Sunday: London is a Forest Tour

To celebrate the launch of the New Edition of London is a Forest, Paul Wood will lead a small group on a guided tour through the urban forest from Ealing Broadway to Acton Park.

The walk of 2.5 miles and, allowing for several stops to take in the wealth of interesting trees, glimpses of London from the distant past and urban myths along the route, will take around 2 hours. 

Sunday: Free Womens Self Defence Course Course at The Gauntlet Fight Academy

The Gauntlet Fight Academy and Total Krav Maga have teamed up with West London's Ealing based MET Police to run a series of weekend self defence classes for women and girls, free of charge.

Women and girls from age 13 and over are invited to sign up to a session and 

gain the confidence to walk in peace, defend themselves and fight back if needed.

Sunday: Ealing Canoe Club
