A primary school in Ealing has raised nearly £10,000 ahead of their charity Ealing Half Marathon run this weekend to raise funds for school equipment.

Parents, teachers and friends of North Ealing Primary School will run the 2021 Ealing Half Marathon this Sunday (26 September) in the hope of raising enough money to buy four interactive whiteboards for the school.

The fundraiser has reached nearly 70% of its £13,500 target so far from over 300 supporters on their JustGiving page.

The event was organised by the North Ealing Primary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA), who aim to raise additional funds to enhance and provide educational and related facilities for children at North Ealing Primary School, which are not normally provided by the local education authority.

The runners started weekly training sessions in May and they have thanked everyone who supported them by running, coaching, or sponsoring the PTA-organised event.

North Ealing Primary School is a community school serving an area of Ealing known as Pitshanger Village.
