EALING Police have issued a further appeal to help identify a man who was found dead four years ago in Ealing.

The man's body was recovered in April 2017 from a car park in Spring Mews, Ealing, after an alert from a member of the public.

It is believed he was known locally as Paul and that he was homeless, having lived under the car park ramp for approximately six years.

Officers hope that this renewed appeal may prompt someone to think about a family member or friend that they lost touch with four or more years ago.

DC Evans of the Met's West Area Safeguarding Unit, said: "This man was a son to someone, a family member and likely a friend to others.

"There may be a family somewhere who have spent years wondering what happened to their loved one.

"If you can help us finally identify him so that his family and friends can be notified please don't hesitate to get in touch."

He was a white man, 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build, aged between 55 – to 75 years old, with dark greying thinning hair.

According to the police, extensive enquiries were carried out in the initial stages of investigation and over the last four years, however, the man has yet to be identified.

The death is not thought to have been suspicious.

If you have information you think might help identify this man call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 17FOU003946.
