EALING Council is holding a consultation in order to get residents' views about a range of possible improvements for Deans Gardens in West Ealing.

The consultation will run until August 30, and you can have your say by completing a survey.

A drop-in event will also take place at Deans Gardens on August 18, where there will be a full display of the proposed improvements.

Councillor Deirdre Costigan, deputy leader and cabinet member for climate action said: "We want to get the views of residents and regular visitors on some proposed improvements to the park as it's a vital town centre green space where local people can exercise, relax and meet friends.

"It is also a great place for children and young people to play and enjoy nature.

"With lockdown, more local people have been visiting the park which is great.

"But it's led to extra litter and greater wear and tear of the play area, the outdoor gym equipment and the lawns.

"We're also keen to invest in improving our green spaces with more trees to combat climate change.

"You can help us shape what Dean Gardens looks like in the future by getting involved in this consultation."

Any agreed improvements will be carried out later this year and in early 2022.
